The BEST Youtube Cardio Workouts

As much as I enjoy hitting the weights at the gym, or creating my own workouts, sometimes I just don’t have the time to come up with a routine or travel to the gym to make it in time for a Zumba class. So, in cases like these, I turn to my good pal, YouTube!

I absolutely love doing YouTube workouts because you can search for whatever type of workout you want, for however much time you have, and in whatever area of your body you want to focus on.

There are tons upon tons of videos to choose from, but to make it a little easier for you guys, every other week for Fitness Friday I will be sharing my favorite and the BEST YouTube workouts out there. Some may focus on arms or legs, and some may be HIIT, dance or even yoga! I love trying out new exercise styles and YouTube is a great (and FREE) way for me to discover something new.

For this week, I’ve culminated my top 3, apartment/home friendly YouTube Cardio Workouts! So many people think cardio means running through the neighborhood or jogging on the treadmill and there’s absolutely no in-between.


The main purpose of cardio is to activate your heart muscle and get the blood pumping through your body. That means that any workout that gets you active, moving and jumping around so your heart rate increases, can count as cardio! These three videos do just that!

1. 20-Minute STRONG by Zumba® Cardio and Full-Body Toning Workout

Why I love this workout: If you know me, you know I love music, and this workout is based around just that! This STRONG by Zumba workout focuses on using the beat and tempo of the music to fuel you through a fun, but tough workout.

2. 30-Minute HIIT Cardio Workout with Warm Up - No Equipment at Home | SELF

Why I love this workout: I love HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) workouts because they take simple moves, but make them even more challenging by placing them in time-bound intervals that inspire you to go all out for a short period of time, then break, and do it all over again. It may seem easy and quick, but if you give 110% I promise you’ll feel the burn!

3. 30-Minute Cardio-Boxing Workout w/Deja Riley

Why I love this workout: Not only is this a total body workout, but Deja Riley makes the cardio fun by incorporating boxing-themed ab exercises and dance segments! It’s easy to follow, and fun to do!
