Mental health for borderline millennials

Being born in 1995 means that I get lumped into both Millennial and Generation Z. If you’re like me, then you can relate to both generations. We have some of the Millennial struggles, like facing the job market right now, but we also identify with Gen Z in that technology rules our lives. No matter what generation we identify with, nobody knows our struggles better than us. So, I’ve created this blog series for those of us Borderline Millennials who face mental health battles which come along with the opportunities , struggles, and responsibilities of being a Borderline Millennial.

Farewell 2018

An open letter to 2018

There’s no doubt in my mind that 2018 challenged me, tested my patience and strength, and really showed me what I’m made of, however, I’ll be damned if I didn’t recognize all of the blessings this whirlwind of a year showered me with. So, in this blog, I will share my blessings with you, and leave you all with some lessons to take with you as you we enter the new year together.

Anxiety Abroad

Anxiety Abroad

Struggling with anxiety is never easy, but at least when you’re in the comfort of familiarity, it makes it easier to cope. Now, what happens to your anxiety if you move abroad and are away from all sources of comfort and safety? I don’t know, but I’m about to find out! From castles and coasts, to crying and confusion, follow me through the next four months as I chronicle all of the highs and lows of my study abroad experience in this new blog series.

Minding my business

This blog series was created with the intention to share my stories and struggles with mental health, specifically my newfound battle against major anxiety. Throughout these posts, I will attempt to chronicle how I have been “minding my business” by making my mind and mental health a top priority. Shedding light on my highs and lows with complete vulnerability, topped with resources and tricks that have (and have not) helped me, and which may help you! I hope my words inspire you to voice your own stories or at least, change your perspective on mental health.
