Edge Naturale Product Review

When I first got Edge Naturale, I have to admit, I was a little nervous to test it out...

For one, I don’t wear braids and leave my hair natural most of the time, so I didn’t have the same worries as other people who are used to sew-ins. Also, I have super sensitive skin, and I was terrified of having a bad reaction to this product, especially somewhere so visible like my edges.

Edge Naturale

Let me tell you right now, none of my fears came true! I had no negative reaction whatsoever, and I actually saw growth in my baby hairs!

Let me give you a little hair background before I continue on. I have complex hair since I’m Black, Mexican, and Native American. Let’s just say, there is a lot of texture to my hair! While most of my hair grows thick and long, I have two areas of my head that always struggle to grow; my baby hairs in the front, and the baby hairs in the back. You know, the ones that line your head in the shape of a crown at your scalp. I’m sure I’m not alone in this, which is why I never let it bother me. But, when an awesome product like Edge Naturale came about, I said “why not?” and gave it a try in the hope to finally grow my front baby hairs.

On their website, they claim results within 30 days (like most products do), but unlike most products, I actually did see results! If you read the instructions on the Edge Naturale Follicle Enhancer, you’ll see that in order to get the best results (results that they advertised) you’ll want to consistently apply the product twice a day for thirty days to your edges. Being the busy person that I am, I naturally missed a couple of days. My schedule was more like once a day for a few days, and then I threw in twice a day every once in a while for 30 days. (Sorry!)

However, despite my inconsistent schedule, I STILL saw growth in my edges! So, I can only imagine how much more growth I would've gotten had I used the product correctly! I am pretty impressed.

I was also pleasantly surprised by the actual feel of the product once it was in my hair. It’s got the consistency of a whipped, light lotion and the scent of a eucalyptus-like essential oil. Whenever a scent is as strong as an essential oil, I’m usually a bit wary and fearful that it’s going to give my scalp a burning sensation. This was not the case. It did give a bit of a sensation, but it was more of a gentle tingling sensation similar to that which you have if you’ve ever done a scalp scrub with tea tree oil. I kind of liked the tingly sensation because it made me feel as though I could actually feel my hair follicles working and getting ready to put in work.

So, given my own personal experience, I would give Edge Natural Follicle Enhancer the Borderline Millennials stamp of approval. Also! If you’re interested in testing it out for yourself, Edge Naturale is currently having a pre-Black Friday sale where you can get 25% off your order, which is also applicable on their hair vitamins which I haven’t tried yet but am definitely interested in! If you like it, tell them Sahara sent ya!
